AC Accumulator Drier - Just passing along an FYI

The Drier is a Fleet Source brand, part # 7152. 3/8" flare inlet/outlet, compatible with R-12, R-22, and R-134a. I'm not sure if this would be a direct drop-in for all Mopar AC systems, as I'm fairly new to Mopar and the AC in this car appears to be a dealer add-on Mopar system. Plus, one never...

AC Accumulator Drier - Just passing along an FYI

No problem. I edited the post to include a Thermo King dealer locator link.

AC Accumulator Drier - Just passing along an FYI

After leak testing I found the sight glass on my drier is the location of the refrigerant leak. It couldn't be repaired, so I checked with four classic car AC parts vendors with no luck. One of my refrigeration techs at work told me to check with the parts department at Thermoking, the company...

I've done a ton of research- so now I'm really confused....

George Jets - Very informative, thanks for sharing. As a Mopar rookie I have a couple of question about this 4b conversion. We have a '64 Dart GT Convertible with a 273 and 3-speed push-button automatic. First question, are there any special considerations/requirements for the throttle and...

    Air Conditioning Parts

I went through the A/C system in our 1964 Dart GT (with 273 V8) this weekend looking for a leak using soap bubbles and an electronic detector. The good news is the hoses, evaporator coils, and condenser coils are good to go. I found leaking schraeder fittings that I replaced, as well as a couple...

    Early A-Body Convertible Top Replacement

Our '64 Dart's soft top has a couple of small rips and one larger one (about 6") and I think they need to be addressed soon. I've never done a convertible top replacement, so I'm interested in thoughts on doing one of these. What are some best practices and good things to know before diving into...

    273 Intake 4 bbl Conversion

toolmanmike you've given me a lot of good info and some things to consider. Much appreciated!

    273 Intake 4 bbl Conversion

Okay, thanks. Dumb Mopar rookie questions, I assume the LD4B is a 4 barrel intake for the smaller V8's. Is there a way to ID the one pictured?

    273 Intake 4 bbl Conversion

So I have an opportunity to buy a 4 barrel intake, and the seller states that it's for 318, 340, and 360 ci V8's. Can this also be used on a 273? Also, what is the 'go-to' 4 barrel carb for the 273? And are there any linkage issues and/or challenges? Any other considerations if making the swap?

    Dash Wiring Issues

This is great information and gives me a good starting point, thanks. Just ordered the color wiring diagram as well. Both the fuel and temp gauges are failing low/off, so I'll start with the IVR, then re-check all connections and follow the 12v. Thanks again.

    Dash Wiring Issues

Apologies in advance for all the Mopar rookie questions :-) I'm trying to chase down a dash wiring issue in our '64 Dart, specifically there are no dash lights and the fuel and temperature gauges sometimes decide to take a random little vacation together. I downloaded the wiring diagram for...
