I've had quite a few friends and a couple mechanics tell me that these newer engines are designed to run about 205-210 degrees for the best performance. I still have trouble getting use to higher temps on these but so far I have had no trouble with the way my magnums run and preform. I have a 96...
They put one in my 71 Scamp early this year and the seal did NOT come with it. Cost me right at $300 for the windshield and seal. So far so good, cannot complain about it. Good Luck.

I live in North Topeka in a good neighborhood, older homes. Both young and older people. Most people tend to look down on North Topeka because of 50 yr old considered problems. But I like it that way :-) Nice areas further north but more $$$$. Main thing is stay out of central and east Topeka...
House is lookin good man. And I love that ceiling, never know it's Styrofoam! :-) Just tell the city fathers to kiss off BUT make sure yer butt's covered when ya do it. :-)
