Thank you for replies. Even though it’s only a small area of the car it felt like a major hurdle to me so I’m really glad it’s done. I’m hoping to get some help from a friend who is a panel beater to put the new quarter on soon.

More patches today... I’m getting tired of this stage of the project. Still not quite finished but I can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel instead of through the rust holes :D

I’ve used panel-bond before, it’s great stuff but all these patches are getting welded.

Well I’ve managed to get back into the shed now the travel restrictions have eased a little. My goal is to get the inner cowl panel finished up so I can get some paint on it before spot welding the upper cowl back on, then I will prime everything from the windscreen forward.
