Well, neighbor’s husband did have a milling machine. He was always in the garage making something. Wouldn’t surprise me if he pieced this together for something to use on either the lathe or the mill. Thanks for the reply.

My neighbor gave this thing to me thinking I could use it. I don’t even know what it is! She said she thought it was a part that went to her late husband’s metal lathe. I’m posting here hoping some might know what it is. Anyone know?

I like the idea of a remote mount so much, I did my own take on it. I had a similar setup on my race car and it worked very well. BB 440 has similar filter mount and made filter changes a mess. I really don’t know. My engine is a ‘65 so it never had an EGR. I upgraded to a two barrel carb, and the newer manifold had the EGR. Just made the plate myself to block it off. Pretty easy to do.

You mean like this one?

I’ve also been told it’s harder to clean up off the track surface.

Unfortunately I don’t have the center caps or lug nuts.
