• Hi, I'm the guy with the thread about a 727 creeping forward in neutral. In my trans the brown thrust washer that goes between the drums measures .085 but per Munro it should be ~ .065 and the front thrust washer between the front drum and the pump/stator support is missing. The end play is < .020 so it is racecar tight. Do you think being too tight could induce motion in the parts, causing the creep?

    Well, it is certainly possible I suppose.

    Obviously good build practices, and assembling the transmission correctly will have an impact on how it well performs and functions.
