For all i know, taking it apart for inspection knocked a piece of swarf out that i didn't see that was corkscrewing the oil up like someone else suggested. I have no idea why it was doing it before, and why it doesn't appear to be now. Im bumfuzzled.

So, found the vacuum advance leaking. Thats been changed, and car runs better than ever. Ive got about 60 miles on with no evidence of more oil yet. Hopefully get a bunch more on this weekend, so we'll see of that was it! If not, it comes back out to see if it has the passages i didn't see last...

Just got my new reproduction rallye mirrors in. My car never was drilled for the control stick. Anyone have the dimensions and locations for where to drill? Its a 1970 if it matters. Also, what all holds the stick in? It came with a bezel, but looks like there should be a backer plate or...

Well, finished swapping to the second gen neon console and park brake, tightened all the loose parts on the front end and replaced the idler arm, and swapped back to the red wheels for something different. Dont really like them as much as I thought, so they probably go away soon. No pictures...
