    72 Duster 392/ 8hp70 Build

I have a 6.4 in a 69 Dart on a /6 k member and Schumacher mounts. My TTi shorties fit perfect. Same car, with a 5.7 mock up at one point and TTi long tubes also fit great. Not one ding needed anywhere.

    It's time for a change

Quote: I haven't looked into the flexplate options yet There are a ton of options out there, as the 727/904 use is pretty common.

    Carb’d 6.4 into a 70 Duster

‘63GT on here can attest to the efficiency of the Prefix single plane on my heap. After he slightly rubbed on my BGE heads to flow 360+ he flowed the Prefix intake: ZERO air loss. 600 Hp with a stock short block, a cam and a carb-ed intake is cake

Gen III Hemi LSA vs wedge engine.

I think it’s pick your poison. There are carbed gen 3 hemis that make good power at 108, and at 112 in NA applications. Of course if you have any forced induction you want a wide LSA. But you are correct, most shelf grinds are wider. If you want a more educated opinion, call the folks at MMX...

Hemi elec water pump and alternator help

So…this is what I’m doing. Yes, to clean up the front of the ugliest engine on the planet…lol. I too have manual steering. My friend trimmed the front cover and made a plate to mount a big block Chevy electric water pump. Along the way, I figured out how to use my mini alternator without much...

What is meant by….Trick ring face

Piston Ring Back Cut This terminology is used to describe a compression ring with less than SAE standard D-Wall radial thickness. The radial thickness is defined as the ring’s inside diameter compared to the outside diameter. Back-cutting reduces natural radial ring tension by increasing the...

Help to ID very Strange 426 Wedge Block

Also, Chrysler did make an "industrial" big block engine block. It is casting number 2658836. These are sometimes referred to as "cold weather" blocks, such as on page 19 of Chuck Senator's "Big Block Mopar Performance" book from HP Books. The casting number on these can be hard to find...

    [FOR SALE] MSD 7AL3 box

Pulled from a running car; last pass was a 10.14 @ 130. I changed up my combo to a gen 3 hemi, so I don’t need it. No wiring and no rubber mounts. New boxes are $800-900, but I’ll take $375 shipped.
