hi guys, will need some help on where to get started and what pieces to buy to repair the rocker and rear quater panels. any help, insight, pics or links would be very appreciated. haven't done this before but not afraid to learn. are they worth repairing? patches? completely replace? thank you!

i won't know what it looks like until i get in there, but if it's anything like my TJs hubs, which i doubt, we would make a tool out of a bolt, nut, washer, and a small piece of pipe. you take the head of the bolt, place it behind the flange the lug goes into, with a nut down close to the head...

i would opt to get rid of them, anyone got a link on proper procedure?

i know there is a lug here and there that are already broken off. pops can't remember why. anyone got a good link to show how to take them out in case we need to?

it's a 70 340, so she has discs on the front. i'm used to live axle trucks so this will be new to me

i just assumed it would have to be flatbed'd. the car hasn't ran since 95 and i couldn't in good conscience tell someone to tow it with the rear axle not seeing any attention since probably before i was born. bumpers are all off, it's pretty much gutted at this point

we're aiming for daily driver dependability, but it won't be a DD.

stay away from poly?

that's some of the things i was afraid of. i'm not up on towing, how do "they" secure the front end of the car?

soon we'll be ready to send the car to a body shop. we're restoring a 70 duster. is it ok to remove the gear box while still being ok to be towed? assuming flat bed? how about any of the other tie rods or torsion bars?

Hi guys, so my father and i are restoring his 70 Duster. we're in the tear down stage and this weekend we'll be getting into the wheel and brakes. Looking down the road - do the LH lugs serve an actual purpose? Should any/all the lugs be replaced? if so, should they all just be replaced with RH?

Looking for opinions, thanks guys!
