Barracuda not starting after being parked for five years

Something to think about... "Run" circuit is through ignition switch & has been known to deliver low voltage to ECU as switch ages/corrodes. If you use run circuit to trigger a small relay instead, between battery & ECU, it delivers full battery voltage and better spark. I have that on my 64...

1965 Valiant Convertible - What's it worth to you?

I'd be at $3K just for the drive train....everything else is too personalized. If you find the right person with similar tastes maybe $6K.

    Door too low on striker

Old body shop trick.... put half a roll of paper towels vertically in the door jamb down by the lower hinge. Close the door and then lean on it a bit to stretch the lower hinge. Do it easy and check alignment each time.

A904 manual lever to manual valve ??

OK … as to the e-clip. Is it on the outside of the case or the inside? I can't see it from under the car and if its on the outside wouldn't it hold the shaft up vs down? Also, could a loose kickdown keep "D" from engaging at very low/idle throttle. I'm thinking it should only affect at...

A904 manual lever to manual valve ??

Thanks for the pic...really clear there. Looks like a console shift. I see it has an E-clip for the cable adaptor, mine has a nut. Also the end of the manual valve in pic is rounded and mine is squared off at the end and at the groove.

A904 manual lever to manual valve ??

NSS not a problem. When I adjusted cable the last time I went 2 holes at a time until I lost "N" then took it back 1 at a time until it engaged all gears. Parked after test drive and the next night SOS... no "D". I wonder if the detent side is held closely enough in place to keep the ball but...

A904 manual lever to manual valve ??

That was my thought too. I couldn't figure how it got out in the first place unless the shop that gave the tranny a once-over did it when seals were replaced but I don't know if they touched the shaft seal. They were only looking for leaks to fix. What's driving me crazy is that after I...

A904 manual lever to manual valve ??

OK....can't find this anywhere and the tech manual isn't real clear. My push button trans was running fine when pulled for engine swap. All sorts of trouble after reinstalled including bad shift cable retainer spring. Had reverse only but found that manual lever had popped out of manual valve...

[SOLD] Early A V8 Center Link

    How early? I might need a 1964.

    Slant 6- v8 centerlink

At 24" long that sure looks like a 67 link. Plus one end is flatter than the other. Pretty sure 64-66 links are 22 1/4" as shown in earlier pics.

    Newbe with a cracked block.

Hello... I'm the proud owner of a 64 Dart GT Convertible /6. Currently I'm mulling over swapping engines due to hairline crack in block. Runs & JB Weld holding so far but..... I have a line on a 273 but things get a bit complicated with the old push button shifters, center links etc. Any...
