I have a 1970 Dart Swinger with a 340 engine and the previous owner decided to spray paint the air breather a glossy black. Does anyone know a paint remover that will not take off the textured paint underneath it or do I have to strip the whole paint and repaint it with the textured black...

I have a 1970 Dart 340, does anyone know if anybody makes factory style valve covers or do I have to buy used. Does the 318 of that year fit? What years will work and still have the correct tabs and spark plug wire extensions?
