Looking for 90 degree oil filter adapter from 273 engine, so called "true 90" and not the "almost 90" which came from 340.

Did the snow ever melt? I'm looking for fenderwell headers for my -65 Valiant and would be interested in seeing pictures of different options. Current Hooker headers (which curl around frame rails) are just a constant nightmare, and I'm looking into replacing them with true fenderwells...
Looking for one of the "better" torque strap solutions for early A-body and V8. Mancini or Schumacher (or are they the same?). International buyer, so payment via Paypal.
Here's an update on my project!
Mocking the -66 Barracuda cluster on -65 Valiant dashboard was a sack of sad news. Despite the similarities, the two clusters didn't have much common after all. I had already spent so much time and money on the project, I simply could not back down. Instead, I...
Yup, looks like you are correct! So far closest I have found are these Buick / Oldsmobile mirrors (looks like almost 1:1 to me) but they are out of stock :(
Yes, I'm perfectly happy also keeping this mirror on the drivers side. I'm just trying to figure out where that mirror came from, so I can try to source identical to put it on the passenger side.
That was my first idea as well, but the base on Mopar mirrors are much, much shorter than the one I currently have. I'm afraid there can me marks or outline of the larger base visible if it's replaced by smaller one.
Could you help me out identify this mirror? It's on -65 Valiant but I'd assume it's not an original since it's not a two post mirror. I have been looking at pictures of other old Mopar mirrors, but haven't found anything exactly like it so far. I'm looking to find a similar mirror to put on...
I'm planning on using the metal frame also. That 60-year-old plastic seems very brittle, so I don't trust it alone to hold the gauges. I just need to figure out where and how much I need to cut away from the frame and the car, since Valiant instrument panel is so much narrower..
Like other have said, they are mostly held in by friction. I had to Dremel the gauge openings larger, and I just went really slow, and test fitted the gauges often. That way I could get them to fit really snug. I'm also going to use the retainers that came with the gauges. For the small gauges I...
Yup, after some more measuring and hard contemplating I ended up with the route to install all gauges on top of the plastic cover. It's not perfect, but I'm happy how it's turning out. And hey, it's not a show car! It's street / strip car so it's better if it's not too nice
