The only suggestion that I have found for what this stamp means has been a factory warranty replacement transmission. I have not found any document on the web telling what it means though. Just in case anyone was wondering.
Has anyone seen a stamp like this on an A833 4 speed transmission? The pad where it is stamped is not smooth like all others that I have seen as you can see from this picture.
Also all that is stamped is PP833 4116 which is the date code of November 3, 1972.
No other numbers are present. There...
Thanks for the info guys. That is a help. I don't have any pics. I don't own it but a friend does and was curious about the numbers as I thought it must be pretty rare.
Any thoughts on the value? It is un-restored, straight body, runs and drives very good and I would call it driver quality.
I was wondering if anyone could tell me how many 1973 Satellite Sebring Plus cars were made with a 400 4 barrel engine 4 speed tranny. I know it is not an A body car but have not found any other place that I can find this info.
Thanks in advance
My son just bought a house at Innerarity Point. Also on Saturdays there is a group of car guys gather at the Hardees on Hwy 98 and show off their cars. I have been a couple of times and enjoyed it. You should check it out.

My 1968 Barracuda with 904 automatic has started having an abrupt "thunk" when I go into reverse. Goes into drive with no problem. It was low on tranny fluid so I toped it off but have not really driven it since I did. Have only had it for a couple of months and not sure what type fluid the...
1968 Barracuda Notch. Well I finally got the cotter keys out from each end of my idler arm. Not much room to work so it was not as easy as you might think. Am I going to need one of those "forks" to get the idler arm out of the center link? I don't own one.
Also does the front end need to be...
I have a similar situation. My 68 Barracuda needs the idler arm replaced. On mine the bolt inserts from the bottom with the nut on the top next to the engine. I can barely get to it and can only feel the carter key that keeps the nut secure. If I can get the carter key out I should be able...
