Moparboy, I just got done putting my new headers on my 65. Got them from t.t.i., looks awesome 1 3/4 tube 3" collectors well worth the money! They don't make that header you're looking for anymore, I looked into it myself.
I've seen the ones from Dougs & TTI, and they don't exit through the top of the fender wells. I've seen them that exit through the top of the fender wells on other barracudas but haven't been able to find the name of them or who sells them. :banghead:
I'm looking to put headers on my 1965 Barracuda, however I'm having a hard time finding them for a manuel transmisson. Does anyone know where to find them?????
Thanks Moparhead, decided to go with the 340 heads, having them shaved. I should get the engine back tomorrow or Friday. Will let everyone know how it goes.

I have a 340 small bock currently being rebuilt and wanting to use 273 heads due to there're closed chamber heads, will a 340 intake bolt up to the 273 heads?? Or does anyone have any suggestions.
Got my new clutch parts, 10.5 disc, flywheel and bellhousing. Motor still at the machine shop but got cam in, and ordered pistons. My little hellfish should be a monster when she rolls out of the garage this time. I cc'd the heads the other day at the machine shop and at 70cc should end up at...
thanks for the input, ill post more as i go. i just sent out another 340 block to the machine shop and it should be done in a couple of weeks. then its back together i hope!
I'm in the process of switching from a 10 inch to a 10.5 inch clutch and bellhousing because I ran a 10 inch with the 273 bellhousing for years. I found out at the end of 2011 that the 10 inch pressure plate has a cast ring and under heavy load (drag strip TNT) that the cast ring will fracture...
