I just don't want my massive original compressor on my nice clean engine, even reconditioned. I will keep it though

I now have factory AC but would like to upgrade to a Sanden. Can anyone who has done this tell me which compressor and especially which brackets to use? The wrong info was given to me at a car show by Vintage Air. Thanks

Thanks everyone. I ordered a tap from Ebay and it worked like a charm. Even though my first one came out with the washer weld technique, the tap is easier and faster

One of my 71 340 Duster control arm bushing sleeves doesn't seem to be steel. One sleeve came out while I was pressing my pin out which was nice. On the other one I tried doing the weld a washer on method but my MIG would not strike an arc. It will everywhere else on the arm. I did a magnet test...

Does anyone know of an aftermarket radio that will fit a 71 Duster rallye dash, without cutting anything? I ordered a Retrosound radio that was stated as a direct fit, but it wasn't even close. Not only was it like a toy that needed assembly, the knob stems wouldn't potrude through the dash...

My 71 340 now has power front drums. Do I need to replace my booster and proportioning valve to covert to front discs? Just want to do the fronts for now. Thanks
