Ok so I wanna slap some 18s on my 67 dart. We'll I was just gonna use billet adapters to swap to more common bolt pattern in case I sell the car. So my question is does anyone know what backspacing I'll need to get the maximum width rim? My goal is run 18x8s In the back 18x7 in the front.

Well i just the call from my mech and he worked his magic with a new Holley 750 DP race style 4150, and he also rebuilt the distributor (not sure everything he did but he did say he worked some magic) said initial timing is 24* and total is 38*. He said it idles right around 650-750ish, also...

We'll I work out of town and won't be home for a few more days, I will order this pro billet now and also order this bushing and try that. But I'm getting rid of the 650 for a holly 750 race. I will be checking back next week once all this is done!

What exactly do you mean when you say re curve the distributor? Is there a link explaining how to do this? Im still learning this motor building/tuning thing! Comp is 10.5:1

We exhausted every option with timing, and modifying the existing carb. But the only thing that has seemed to work was 4 corner idle adjustment. The motor don't pull much for vac, we are getting around 5in around 1000-1200rpm.

No I'm running a MSD 6AL and MSD coil, the only thing stock is the distributor. I've talked to a few sources that say stock mopar distributors are solid and said I won't gain much at all by upgrading. So I've invested the money else where. But once the new carb goes on we will be playing with...
