My dash lights are very dim even when switch is at max. How do I get to the bulbs after removing screws? How do the wiper and headlight switch knobs remove? Standard Dash, 1974 Duster.

I needed to raise the front end on my 1974 Duster,(tires were rubbing on fender wells). I turned the height adjusting bolts clockwise to achieve proper height. All was fine until the vehicle was moved. The front end dropped right back down. Tried 3 times. As soon as you start to move the car...
