Intake and carb are on... mocking up and routing the fuel lines for the new (cheap) dual fuel inlet fitting. Decided to route a hard line to and up and over the distributor... then a soft line down between the heater hoses to the the pump. Seems pretty slick. Should be enough room to rotate and...

Yep. Done. Went with P#2. I just wasn’t sure if the White Ptx Thread sealer was compatible with oil, but good to know for next time. I’m not too worried. I may be breaking it all down for a cam swap this winter. Thanks guys.

I’m doing an intake swap. The valley pan from my RV 440 had some minor oil pooling. There was no sealant on any intake bolts.. so I’m assuming that’s where much of the oil came from. I have some stainless intake bolts that I’d like to use. Permatex Aluminum Anti-seize is recommended for these...

Decided on black for the intake for now. I did put on a few coats of primer.

Drove out into WI to buy a set of 452 heads today. This was in the seller’s garage (factory 440 4 speed car, # matching drive train). In one of his other garages was a 69 Barracuda that he was building for street/strip.. sitting next to it was a crate 392 Hemi with headers and K member already...

Thanks. I should have clarified what I’m after. Generally speaking, from what I’m reading, it sounds like 4-hole for low end TQ, and open for top end HP. I’m after low end, so ill stick with the 4-hole for now. Summit QA said the same. What prompted my question was watching this:

Installed the insulated trunk divider (I pulled the old stinky, busted one last summer) from Detroit Muscle and it made a big difference as far as the rear seat squeaks! Wow, does that passenger side rear seat belt look like a Black Mamba! Speaking of Black Mamba... that’s the engine color...
