The IAC is the curse to tuning. Sometimes, and I mean sometimes, they work as designed with cold/hot, cranking/running conditions based upon temperature. Then, at times, they won't open at all during cold start, like a carburetor choke that decides to stay open. And sometimes, when driving, when...

I'm running -1.6 camber. There will be a big difference in steering response once you cross -1.3ish. I run my numbers as a compromise to street driving and autocross. If you want to have immediate steering response, dial it up.

The versatility of the GEN III Hemi. Street manners, any 93 octane pump gas, doesn't care about heat or lateral Gs, cruise all day at 2500RPM getting 18MPG and run 115MPH in the 1/4 mile. And that's just the engine! The stiff chassis, and autocross friendly suspension also pay dividends on the...

DOES THE HDK SUSPENSION K-MEMBER HANDLE BETTER THAN A T-BAR SUSPENSION?

I'm going to agree with your assessment. I would guess if Tim and I ran the same wheel/tire combination, with Tim driving both cars back to back, it would be splitting hairs to see which car is quicker. And if Tim's Duster is quicker, how much? Both setups can work well. And one more issue. The...

DOES THE HDK SUSPENSION K-MEMBER HANDLE BETTER THAN A T-BAR SUSPENSION?

I just started autocrossing in August of 2023, just once before MoParty 2023 when my setup was a complete mess. I really didn't get the car sorted out until the beginning of this year. I don't recall where in this post anyone that autocrosses had any disparging words about short track, dirt...

DOES THE HDK SUSPENSION K-MEMBER HANDLE BETTER THAN A T-BAR SUSPENSION?

You ought to ride in the current/last GEN Camaro 1LE with just stock sized RE71s! They will put every CAM-T Mopar on the trailer. We have two that are always top ten raw time cars. The engineering GM put into those cars is on a level we simply can't replicate with our old Mopars. And don't even...

DOES THE HDK SUSPENSION K-MEMBER HANDLE BETTER THAN A T-BAR SUSPENSION?

First, I love your Duster Demon, it was an inspiration for my build. I think I said before Tim's car and my car are as close to a match for HDK coil over and torsion bar you will find. I also run the taller UBJ and the SPC fully adjustable UCA with a stock boxed LCA, Bilstein shocks the big...

DOES THE HDK SUSPENSION K-MEMBER HANDLE BETTER THAN A T-BAR SUSPENSION?

So let me get this straight. HDK has zero advantages over torsionbars, the geometry is terrible, Tim Talbot, completely redesigned the kit because Denny didn't know what he was doing. Even with that, there is no advantage to this system even thought Tim street drives it 50 miles to and from his...

DOES THE HDK SUSPENSION K-MEMBER HANDLE BETTER THAN A T-BAR SUSPENSION?

It's pretty ballesy to say Tim redesigned the HDK suspension. I know Tim asked Denny if he could lower the point for the LCAs to get the front down. You can actually see in the first picture with the original HDK K-Member that Tim's car sits higher than my torsion bar car. I wasn't aware that...

Caleb, Next year, I'll take the sound system out and lower the passenger seat. Just watch my perfect headliner dude, you're like a foot taller than me!!!

You should have ridden with Tim or I, We both run 10MPH quicker in the quarter mile than Nate.

DOES THE HDK SUSPENSION K-MEMBER HANDLE BETTER THAN A T-BAR SUSPENSION?

Since I have the torsion bar equivalent of Tim's car, and we've raced together at Moparty, and in the CAM-T SCCA Challenge, I'll gladly give some pros and cons of both setups. Before I do, I'd like to say that Denny approached Tim a couple of years ago because Tim's Duster had been competing for...
