    Veterans On the Board

I put this in a reply before, so here's a stand-alone version. US Army - first a brat (from birth in Panama to enlistment to leave Fort Campbell, KY). Winter 82-83 at Fort Leonard Wood for Basic Training - we got snow, Dix and Jackson got ice. I prefer snow. Sigint AIT at Goodfellow AFB in...

    1964 Dodge Dart GT Convertible

Folks, you may remember my garage post from December 2020 - well, we're 20 months later, and a lot has happened since then. I went from a rust-bucket badly painted white GT vert to a 3rd-place winner in class at Carlisle last weekend. "All" I had to do was buy some body work, a great paint...

    65 Dart Horn Problems

OK, I looked at that problem - and on my new turn signal switch there was a washer that went between the bolt and the switch plastic part. I removed the washer, and ground down the top of the bolt, AND IT WORKED. Now my horn works. At least with a Grant aftermarket steering wheel installed...

    65 Dart Horn Problems

Because you can't replace the horn ring unless you remove the retaining ring first.

    65 Dart Horn Problems

I did buy this - but until I figure out how to put the retaining ring back on - I'm stuck.

    65 Dart Horn Problems

Removing the retaining ring isn't difficult. It's putting it back on that's a *****. I destroyed a spare OEM steering wheel trying. Waiting to figure out a technique to slightly stretch the ring before trying to reinstall it on my other steering wheel. I've also got two of the Grant...

    Heater box non/AC

If you have the 63 with the below-dash knobs, you should be able to pull the knob bracket out with the heater box, leaving the cables attached. If yours is a 64 with the knobs mounted above the radio, you're SOL, and you'll have to detach the cables at the box so you can pull them through the dash.

    Front bumper brackets

Anyone have a set of front bumper brackets for a 64 Dart sitting in a corner collecting dust? Body shop seems to have lost mine - and my patience is wearing very thin. Reasonably priced + the shipping cost, of course.

    Three guesses why no fuel.

That goes along with my idea of "fix/replace the cheapest thing first".

[WANTED] Wiper Switch for 1964 Dart

Gramps, that's the one I needed, but I was able to salvage mine with the help of a local friend. Thanks.

[WANTED] Wiper Switch for 1964 Dart

Well, my rebuild hit a snag today - my Wiper Switch fell apart while I was installing the dashboard. So, if anyone has the 1964 Variable-Speed Wiper switch (complete with handle/pushbutton and the resistor box in the back), MOPAR Part #2423663, I'd sure appreciate hearing from you. One was...
