I bought a rebuilt short block and was told the crank was .020 over and the rods were resized to .020 over. I do have the paperwork from the machine shop so I know it was done. what type/brand gaskets work best for a early 70's 318 ? basically a stock motor with a aftermarket aluminum intake. I was told that the composite work better than the steel on the intake and rubber worked better than cork on the valve covers.
