    [FOR SALE] 1965 Dart 270

Nice car, fairly well maintained over the years. Currently my daily driver. A running, driving car you can fix up as you go. 225, auto transmission, power steering. Selling because of health problems. Front brakes have been done by previous owner-lines, shoes, wheel cylinders. Fuel tank and...

    No press? No problem!

I used this tip to get the oil seal out.

    No press? No problem!

I screwed up and put the gorilla on the flange nuts. I broke one bolt. Haven’t looked to see if they are available. Otherwise, car is back together. Back to being a daily.

    No press? No problem!

Rear wheel bearing fail. Lots of squeak and fluid leak. I used a 4” grinder to cut the collar and bearing. Laid a pipe wrench over the new bearing and collar and tapped it on with a small ball and peen hammer. All that’s left now is the oil seal change and check differential fluid. First...

    Roof Rail Seal Help, Please.

My seals are about done for. I can only find 2 door seals. Will that work for a 4 door? Just wondering if they are the same.

    RADIATOR CHOICE

I would be interested in answers to your questions since I cannot find a copper radiator for my Dart.

    RADIATOR CHOICE

Aluminum oxidizes. It’s heat transfer will suck after it has been in long enough. I deal with aluminum oxidation all the time and, therefore, have a very low opinion of it as a long term useful product. It’s cheap.

    Uremco’s Holley 1920. Just don’t do it.

What happens if I leave the float spring out? I don’t see a hole for the end of the spring to go in. Probably why it was flopping around and jammed the float open. I have been daily driving with the original 1920 on the car. It runs overly rich and I get soot when it’s cold. After that, it does...

    Uremco’s Holley 1920. Just don’t do it.

Opened float bowl. Float spring laying sideways and jammed the float down.

Today’s A body work. Love this car!

Thanks for that info! I saw Pirate Jack on eBay but I didn’t know they were in Asheville. That will make it easy to pick up the conversion kit. I’ll have to source rims, too. My strut rod and lower control arm bushings are in need of replacement. I’ll have to see how that fits in with a brake...

Today’s A body work. Love this car!

Thanks for that link! The car does have rear air shocks and it bounces over bumps. Thinking of going back with stock style shocks.

Today’s A body work. Love this car!

I did a rubber set on my old Plymouth. That’s all PST offered for a C body, but I was happy with the way it turned out. I just noticed the poly offering for the A body and wondered if they would be better.
