Rear wheel bearing fail. Lots of squeak and fluid leak.

I used a 4” grinder to cut the collar and bearing. Laid a pipe wrench over the new bearing and collar and tapped it on with a small ball and peen hammer.

All that’s left now is the oil seal change and check differential fluid.

First rear wheel bearing job on old Mopar I have ever done. A lot easier than I thought it would be.

Removing the collar seems to be the biggest pain of the whole job.

Nice work!
I screwed up and put the gorilla on the flange nuts. I broke one bolt. Haven’t looked to see if they are available. Otherwise, car is back together. Back to being a daily.

Old bearing race works well in place of the monkey.
