1966 Dart, 225 a833 with 8 3/4. Looking for a decent drive shaft. 50.25 to 50.50 center to center of joints. I'm in Hampton VA. How much with shipping? Or if your near me, I have 6 painted steelies 4 - 13" and 2 - 14" small bolt pattern willing to trade. Believe they are 4" wide.

When I was 16, I didn't grease the driver side bearing after replacing the seal and screwed up the housing end. I made a dumb mistake. Thought the bearing would get lubed by the diff oil even though I was fully aware of the seal placement. My 8 3/4 I'm building has green bearings. So sealed.

Be sure to grease the bearings before installing. Unless your using a sealed bearing.

I did get the housing narrowed, assembled it on stands and then took it apart until I'm ready to install. Then I can take measurements for the rear wheels.

As a postal employee, we are very busy and do a great job. And it's true, taxpayer funds are not used.
