Anyone have any ideas as to what these oblong holes are from? Or ever seen anything like them before. I want to have them repaired, but before doing so would like to understand what they may be. Would appreciate any insight.
Should I do this with the brake pedal depressed and car off or key turned on and car running, with pedal down. Sorry, trying to get this right the first time and electrical isn't my strongest suit. Thanks

Seems not an easy part to find these days. I looked in the '69 service manuals' schematic (Fig 11 / 8-103) and it does show the Emergency Flasher Switch and an emergency Flasher. So the way i figure; it "should be" something with one of those or ratty wiring...
