They are crane. I have a set myself and had a thread about them a while back.

I was still pretty young in the late 70’s early 80’s. We took two family trips out west to Texas and Arizona to visit family from New Jersey. Also about three trips to Canada. This was in a 74 gold duster slant, no a/c. I remember stopping for fuel but it felt like miles and miles in between...

Don’t know if you’ll be able to identify the manufacturer but if you bring one or two springs to an automotive machine shop they should be able to tell you the spring rates.

That sucks with that freeze out plug. That exhaust looks like a perfect fit.

Just to clarify. Binds during the full range of motion or just at the outer limits towards the bump stops?

My vote Bill is non console shifter but regardless what you do the interior presentation will be nice.

Nice hardware. I’m in the market myself but on the fence with those hinged/adj strut rods or just the adjustable ones from firm feel.

80’s and 90’s there were still plenty of cars running around here with rotted quarters. I took my drivers test in 89 with my dad’s 74 gold duster that he bought new and that was on the road into the mid 90’s with plenty of disintegration.

Not my car. It’s located in Franklin township in Southern New Jersey. Across from the cemetery at Dutch Mill and Piney Hollow roads. Looks like it was pulled out of a barn. Still has some good parts or project. I didn’t see a sale sign but you could probably get it cheap.
