Goodguys Denver was held a few months ago and I picked up a business card for flashpowerparts.com I went to their site recently and it looks like they have some good, fairly priced stuff including adaptors for Chrysler cars. Anyone have experience with them?

Maybe you could get her warm and with the engine running, flip the ignition switch off and back on before the engine stalls and see if it works then. I'm not familiar with the inner workings of the switch but it does seem worth a try.

I suggest you check the transmission forum and read sticky started by gdonovan. Bottom line... transmission swap ain't easy but the 46RH you want to use is really big. You'd be better off with a 42RH.

I can't help with the rear drum situation but once had a problem with crappy brake performance and overheating and found the culprit to be the adjustable aftermarket push rod where the heim joint end rubbed on the brake pedal.
