Well, I guess I'm different. For example if I was looking for a run of the mill 70 Duster 318 I would prefer the original transmission and everything at least original. I guess in my head it it's original then it probably hasn't been beat on but, most stuff I buy is low mileage or survivor type...
Anyways, basically what happened is CRT messed up on two transmissions he did and installed for this car we got into a heated debate and I was fed up because it took well almost a year to partially resolve the matter which never resolved on the transmission side because I am not going to pull...
The leaks he was describing was a rear main seal and water pump. I fixed the water pump and that took care of one leak. The engine was pretty strong considering other than a cam and timing chain upgrade and probably had over 200k miles it on the original bottom end. What do you expect? A it's a...
First off the car was a 68 Coronet 440 with 500 tail lights and tail panel and was starting to do an R/T clone. The car had the original 1/4s with some mud in lower portion both front and lower portion of the panels. The car did have the original drivetrain and the original 2.76 gears in it. To...
I decided to post this because there is days when I miss this car. CRT and I have already discussed this matter privately. However, as I vent I decided to post in here because I still have a bad taste in my mouth.
I think it's crazy to do it near an area like that. On a country road not sure but, I feel better on a track doing it. On a funny note, anyone think that guy should buy a lottery ticket considering that he even survived the crash? I am more in awe that he even survived.
I agree once you're out of the Minneapolis/St Paul area it is lots of farmland rather going south or north of the "Twin Cities" as I drove through that area a lot including Austin.
One other thing you might want to check is the TPS (Throttle Position Sensor) and make sure there is no oil in the intake area where the throttle body is as well.
I agree with the above except in 03 or 04 dodge went to HO style manifold. The intake you'll want is 08+ piece from 300hp 4.7 with longer runners. HO cams are good they make 206 and 212 ones that are $$$$. I would suggest a 70 or 72 mm throttle body. Your 05 should already have 68mm. Replacing...
Hey guys just wondering if I will have an issue with swapping in 67 318 to a 68 904? I read that to swap a later engine to 67-pre 904 the converter has to of a 67 variety. Just wondering about the earlier engine to later trans? Thank you.
Thanks guys. Still thinking I may stick with a K6900 from Summit. Here is the car when it had Turbo mufflers with the K6900. Like I said the new engine has new valve springs and I'm not sure what they are just that are newer. I just imagine they are factory replacements so the K6900 maybe the...
