yes. it seems that the pinion angle would change a bit. i'll watch it and get angle shims if needed, but wasn't up for messing w/ the U-bolts until I saw the result.
i'm just really please w/ the anti-rake results of this mod. i don't feel like a hessher driving this "Grandma" around town now...
I flipped the front leaf spring brackets on my '64 Signet by re-drilling the holes on the brackets (rather than drilling/filing the frame). By drilling small and filing the hole to size by hand I was able to actually press the bolts into their new location (see photos).
