Check locally for 14x7 chrome reverse sbp. I see them pop up regularly, rusty, crusty, blast and paint.

I've had luck with Automotive Goo-Gone, make sure it's the Automotive variant. Removes undercoat too. Also, it's easier to remove things with like things, for example I've used oil to remove a petroleum based glue, whereas using hot water and soap was useless.
