    Motor ID Help

I looked at a motor my dad had stored in his garage yesterday Mom wanted me to get rid of it as my dad passed away a couple years ago and she wants the room. So the number is 2205687 3 RL. I looked it up and it shows that number for a 413 and 426. How can I differentiate one from the other...

    Looking for advice

Thanks, it is rubber. I see there are brass replacement floats that are recommended to change in my carb. I checked my float for leaks prior to installation by submersing in fuel and found no problems. What your opinion on this?

    Looking for advice

Thanks, I will try these suggestions. I did not soak the accelerator pump in anything. The linkage is on the top slot of the carb and something seems not right. I believe it is correct, but I will watch the video to ensure I have it right. The float might be something I need to look at also...

    Looking for advice

I am looking for advice on what to do to get my 75 Dart /6 to run. I have a dead spot that I just can't fix. I have moved the timing around to see if it changes, no change.I have pulled the carburetor apart several times trying to check for a dirty jet or anything that seems to keep this car...

    73 Scamp

I have a nice bumper off of a 74 Valiant I want to sell. I bought it thinking it would fit my Dart. You need to check and see if it will fit.

    Problem with windshield molding clips

I am having the same problem getting the windshield trim back on. Was there something your guy did different to make the original clips work? I bought the precision gasket and clips. I had my window guy pull the windshield twice and try to get the windshield to fit better as the gasket does not...

So I have no fuel squirting from the accelerator pump. Time to tear it off and re-build.....Again. I might have screwed something up when I put the carb kit in it. We will get it yet.

    slant six starting problems

here is the latest and last on this. I pulled the distributor and was able to loosen the screw to rotate the plate enough to get the timing around where I need it. Everything is great with the exception of a dead spot that I am reading up on to try a few things to fix. I have all of the Ca...

    slant six starting problems

That is where I am at. The distributor cannot rotate any more and the timing mark is way off. I will try moving it a tooth and see what happens. I really appreciate everyone's time and effort helping me and especially Mark for walking me through the tests as I am a rookie. My son is thrilled...

    slant six starting problems

So I really appreciate all the comments and help I have received from each of you. Here is where it stands. I bought remanufactured distributor and put it in as a new coil pickup was 27 and the complete distro was 40. It worked. Fired up and is running strong with just a small issue. When I put...

    slant six starting problems

This is a fairly new battery from last year. I just hooked up a charger for the night to charge it back up. We have been cranking the motor several times throughout the day. I believe this is why it was so low. Thanks for the help.

    slant six starting problems

I tried jumpering from the battery to the positive side of the coil and this did not work. Also, I checked the red wire under the hood and it looks fine. Thanks.
