You would also need a adapter to fit a Qjet on that intake.
I would go with a different carburetor that would fit that Intake.
Your choice Holley/Edelbrock pick your poison.
Just my opinion.

Halafaxhops basically said that I should use a 1 OHM ballast and I would be safe for the street but I won't be touching 7000 rpm by a long shot! More like 6000 rpm at maximum and not that often.
The more I look at the information provided here that this is not a street application item and I should stick with my orange box which works fine.
Thank all of you for your replies, I am just trying to learn if what I have can be used for a street application.
The pictures of the orange box and resister are from my MP performance distributor kit. I know the box works as I have tried it and my engine runs. Didn't run it long as I didn't want to cause it any problems.
I had the honor to meet and speak with him twice up here in Canada.
Down to earth guy, and is willing to help people out with their car's by giving them his knowledge.
Absolutely amazing man. I hope that I will be able to meet him again!
Thank you for your response.
I have a older Quick Fuel 750 as well, so I need both kits anyway.
If you were going to buy a kit which brand would be your choice?
Thanks Newbomb Turk.
As I getting ready to reassemble my Holley 650DP I have two kits on hand to use, one being a Holley 37-485 TricKit, and the other is a AED-4150.
So my question is is the AED as good as the Holley? Or are both kits of the same quality?
Just wanted to know if one was better than the other.
Success!!
I ended up soaking it in CLR for about a hour and a half, washed it with water and followed RRR advice and started tapping it with a hammer back and forth adding WD-40 and it started to move and after about 15min they were out!
Thank you for all your help and opinions.
Mike.
