    snake skin roof

    I have an original '74 Gold Duster with 63k and it has the "snake skin" roof. I believe ma mopar called it Gatorgrain. As far as I know there is no replacement vinyl. I remember a group pricing out making some and the factory tooling/dies was gonna be like $75k-$100k. Not enough people have cars...

    Timed or manifold vacuum advance?

    Really late to the game here but the smallblock 360 in my Duster has unknowingly (by my own mistake) been running off of manifold not timed. This thread had me check and sure enough it was on the drivers side port on a Carter 600 (Edelbrock) instead of the timed port where Carter/Edelbrock say...

Background first...74 GoldDuster 360LA...I needed a timing chain for sure and a water pump....decided to yank the motor to inspect, clean, re-seal everything after a rally in which we pushed it past it's limits...
