Replacing the intake gaskets fixed the problem. Thanks

I pulled the intake and the gaskets had oil on both sides and oil on the intake runners. I installed new gaskets and used sealer as suggested by the directions. Have not had time to drive the car yet. Mike

Just to add to what I know I did a leak down and it is 17 to 18 % speedo states the mileage is 60,243 miles. Going to pull the intake on monday

The 66 Dart 273 that I have owned for about 2 months I have noticed that after a few minutes of driving when I get on it a little the blue smoke rolls out. My first though was valve stem seals. Pulled the valve covers it has new springs and seals. Next pulled the spark plugs they looked great...

I have a 66 Dart 273 engine. The rod from the carb to the trans is keeping the carb from going to full throttle. i am guessing it is for the kick down? Car seems to run and shift fine with it disconnected . Will this cause the trans to have problems. Mike

I did not think a simple thing like adjusting the timing was so controversial. The spec. I have states 10 deg. before or 5 deg after if it has CAP air cleaner ??? . So now i am really not sure were to set it. So just set the total 34 deg and for get it Mike

Guys This is my first MOPAR. I have a 66 Dart with a 273 2bbl. I was checking the timing and on GM cars you disconnect the vac line. But on this car the vacuum line only makes the advance work when the engine is off idle. So my question is should the vacuum source be consent or when the butter...
