    Rear shoulder belts?

Update.... I ordered and and installed a set of the wesco 4 point shoulder belts on one side in the rear seat. I was a pretty easy install once I managed to get the seats out. I ran the top tether in between the seat and the boot bracket. Seems to work well with my 7yr old in a booster seat.

    Rear shoulder belts?

Trust me, I've searched hear and google. Plenty of info on converting the front seats, and found a few related to rear seats for non-convertibles. But, I haven't seen any pics or advice on a successful rear seat conversion. Though hopeful some ideas will come out of this thread since it...

    Rear shoulder belts?

I am looking to put some shoulder/3point seatbelts in the rear seats of my 68 Barracuda Convertible. Has anybody done this? If so, can you give me some advice or tips? I haven't pulled the seats out yet, but thought I heard maybe in 68 there might already be some upper mounting holes for...

Help with wiper motor & switch

Finally got everything squared away. What a pain.... pretty much everything was mismatched from the crank arm to the switch to the stripped wiper arms.

new to me 68 Barracuda Conv, sluggish 318

Thanks for all the help and tips. Thought I would post an update. After getting through all the tune up items, I finally got the timing set and had the carb adjusted. Ended up at about 11* initial timing. Like driving a different car......

Help with wiper motor & switch

Agreed. I had done most of that already and had(thought i had) the wipers working, so I buttoned everything up except for the glove box. Not looking forward to doing it again.

Help with wiper motor & switch

Alright, found my problem. The crank arm was not positioned correctly on the motor, basically the the slot was not lined up and it was slowly spinning on the motor. Now I've got that addressed and ordered some new clips. My new question is, what is the best/easiest way to attach the arm back...

Help with wiper motor & switch

yes, totally agree. My problem is that nothing I've pulled out of this wiper setup so far is original and it's all mismatched. So, I am trying to figure out where to find the part number on the motor so I can even look up an appropriate part. It's not on the front or back, would it be under...

Help with wiper motor & switch

Hey... working through the previous owners wonderful mismatched setup. I finally got everything working, then snapped the clip on the bushing. I haven't pulled it all apart yet, but my guess is that I have a 2 speed crank arm that doesn't work with my 3 speed motor. Where can I find the...

Help with wiper motor & switch

Hi, Going through my new 68 Barracuda and my wipers don't work. Sometimes the go up and stop, if I bang the motor they might go a bit more. But, thinking I need a new motor. I can't pass inspection without working wipers..... My question is, do I even have the right setup in place? Below...

OK. Question on my kickdown linkage. From what I've been reading it does not look right. The second pic below is how it is now, which seems wrong because the linkage should be rest at the back towards the firewall at idle right? Also, I think the spring is in the wrong spot causing the...

new to me 68 Barracuda Conv, sluggish 318

Thanks. I haven't pulled the distributor yet to check if its points or electronic..... I was able to find the receipt for the rebuild. It looks like a simple mopar rebuild kit and the cam listed is a PAW SSI 11309. I'll definitely post an update once I get the timing dialed in...

new to me 68 Barracuda Conv, sluggish 318

Hi All, So I just picked up a 68 Barracuda Convertible. I am new to the Mopar world, but to me the engine seems quite sluggish. I am first in the process of changing out all the fluids and starting fresh along with new plugs, carb cleaning.... Next will be to check/set the timing. Here is...
