I haven't done much on the duster. Got this week off so I'm been cleaning the garage just to find to the Duster, seems to be a catch all. LOL
I modified the stock Magnum distributor with a hall effect module from an earlier distributor to handle the spark. Hoping to make the block off...
on my Magnum I"m using the Mopar p5007790 intake with a edelbrock 3878 throttle body. For the LAs maybe the edelbrock intake they use in their EFI system.
Hopes this helps,Paul
the distributors will interchange between the magnums and the LAs. For intake I'm running the Mopar M1 efi with a edelbrock throttle body. To handle everything I'm going with Megasquirt 2 controller.

Cuda67, save your self a bunch of headaches and cut of the drivers side truck motor mount pads if you plan to run headers. The stock exhaust manifolds will fit the Magnum heads. Enjoy!!!
Now I'm not sure why this is happening. You can this: bolt your flex plate to the crank and put the convertor in place and see if any of your bolt holes line up. Is it the same on both convertors? The other thing I heard done is to order a 904 convertor with the pads equal spaced for the Magnum...
OK now I follow(maybe LoL) The pic with the red convertor has no bolts in it. The flex is just sitting there upside down showing the weights.Your crankshaft is what centers the convertor to everything all you flex plate does is couple the power from engine to trans. Mine hooked right up once...
Cuda67 I lined up the three bolt holes and marked the one that was off. Clamped the flex plate to the bench and used a rat tail file to elongate. I did a trail fit as seen in the pics. Found larger headed bolts and put blue locktite on the threads.
No extra weight is needed since your using...
I went through the same thing. I used the Magnum flex plate with the tone ring, filed one hole to match the 904 convertor. Used blue thread locker on the bolts. Have yet to fire it due to the EFI system.

You may have to cut the truck motor mount bosses off your block to clear the headers. I learned the hard way.LOL If you have the headers I would bolt them to the heads before install just to check.
Picked up a Edelbrock throttle body part#3878. Having to modify both fuel rails to clear. UGH But it is starting to take shape. Now I can also start building the wiring harness to mate with the Megasquirt2 and plum the fuel lines.
On another note learned the hard way that you MUST cut the...
