A body shop guy suggested rubbing compound. I have never tried it. Kim

Put a 390 crank into it. Direct bolt in with your pistons and rods. Will raise your compression from approximately 8-1 to 10-1 Need the 390 flex plate or flywheel depending on auto or manual. Kim
