    Motor must be sealed up tight for vac. pump to work right. I usually pressurize motor (5- 10 lbs.) and use a spray bottle with soap and water. Check valve covers, intake valley pan, intake bolts, oil pan, front and rear seals, oil pump mounting, fuel pump plate, timing cover, dist. hole.
