You could probably drill a hole through the thread and put a split pin for safety i have had a nylock come off on another car and collapse the suspension when doing a U Turn. Put a nut on drill the hole then take the nut off to clean the thread

No worries its a 16/1 box, unless pst now use standard spindels on their boxes. It came with the shaft adapter that gets you from manual box to power column. Pretty sure its not oem

Looks like you have sprayed something on prior to welding? If it is weld through primer pretty sure where your welds are going still needs to be bare metal have you made sure the metal is wire wheeled and clean?

However good news is with this style steering shaft and no mopar coupler i will piss it in with the pipe clearance

I couldn't get the photos to load in messages, so the bourgeon coupler is just ever so slightly smaller than the coupler that fits the PST steering box. Looks to be just over 1.5mm difference not sure what that is in inches lol. Do you think i have the wrong coupler or a machining issue? Edit...

O yep i have been looking at the same bulk head connector. I want to make the loom so you can just unplug from the bulk head and leave it all connected to the engine so its like an engine loom so to speak.
