The precision on that paint.jpg annotation isnt the best, is the plastic ring like a flat shim that we see the square end of, and it lies flat and is 1/16" thick and plenty wide, or is it super thin and basically you cant see it, hence the arrow?

What about removing them? I think maybe I have a siesta special and they pressed a metal one on the column lever? or does the grommet go inside that and leave that metal part on the column lever arm alone?

I bought my second dart and I’m so pissed I forgot to check for them. They did a great job shaving them but I want those nut blowers/fun cubbies. They shaved the hood turn signals too! Pretty sure they just filled the plenum, I can’t tell because it’s nice. Any ideas what I could do to replumb...
