I am swaping a fresh slant six into a 69 dart and the torque converter doesnt mate up with crankshaft in the rebuilt slant six. The new motor is pre 1968 and has the smaller 1.960 diameter register crankshaft. The converter i have is for a 2.160 diameter register crankshaft. Does anyone know...
I bought a pair of tti headers for my small block duster. I got the headers in fine but i cant the get the top starter bolt started and i can barely even touch it to try and get it started.
I need some help soon cause this is my daily driver. tryin to get it done this weekend.
I thought my $8.25 was pretty good for throwin 50 pound cases of tomato product around. I guess not. lol. I think it will be enough to get my 360 built.
BTW i work at a red gold distribution center
The scoop is off of an 80's foxbody mustang, but it looks ok. I want a glass sixpack hood but cant afford it right now. High school jobs dont pay that great. lol
Im pretty sure they are 3.75 backspace also. They just barely hit on my car so, i have to have it sitting high so they clear. I like the sit of the car anyways.
Good luck
I have 275 60r 15's on my duster and the lip rubs on the tire so i had to use shackles to keep the rearend high enough not to rub. They do sometimes when i am on a real crappy road do over 55. I need to roll the lip out.
do u know what company makes adapter kits? or u think the bellhousing would bolt up to a 360, cause i hear the V10 started as small block with 2 more cylinders, 4 inch bore and 3.31 inch stroke. I know keisler sells 5 speed kits but i dont think they have a 6 speed kit.
Im leaning towards the tti cause i dont wanna pay $350 for hooker headers and smash them with in a month. might as well pop for the tti's and not burn up a bunch of plug wires and not bottom out everywhere. I'm gonna try and get em at nationals in columbus and at least save the $60 on shipping...
I have shackles on my car but i kinda wish i didnt cause they look goofy and my leaf springs are flattend out but i dont wanna put air shocks on the car cause they ride terribly
I am about to buy headers for my small block duster and can't decide whether to buy a set of tti step headers or just go with hooker comps. I've heard that the tti headers tuck up under the car nicely and stay away from the sparkplugs. Ground clearance is an issue and i'm not sure how much...
