I bought a pair of tti headers for my small block duster. I got the headers in fine but i cant the get the top starter bolt started and i can barely even touch it to try and get it started.

I need some help soon cause this is my daily driver. tryin to get it done this weekend.

You have to have the starter bolted in before the headers probably.

I`ve heard that as well, that`s why TTI`s competition advertises as " does not capture starter." What a bummer, huh!

Yeah sometimes you just have to hold your mouth right, maybe stick out your tongue, whatever it takes. I`m sure you`re glad you didn`t have to pull the headers just to get the starter on, that would`ve sucked!

On my Valiant, I had to use 3 1/2 foot of extension,
for the top starter bolt. 5/8" socket if I recall.

It still was some work with a smaller "Dakota" type import
starter, I think Nippendenso??

remember puting my ministarter on one day i had a bad hangover and the only way i could get it thru that jungle of primary tubes was something like "backwards and upside down" and then twisting it right before bolting it to the transmission
