    1975 Duster original 6 to 383

After building my 440 Duster I have often thought about a stroker 360 instead. I wouldn't change, but I think it might be the wisest route. :burnout:

    Still overheating

I take offense at the " Trailer Queen " monicker. It's obvious my car is a pro street. Trailer queen refers to all show and no go. Taz goes. I will do something about the shroud. I wonder how many replying here have shoehorned a RB into a A body? That is the category I posted this thread in. I...

Evans coolant. Ill check into that. I really hate to cut holes into the shroud. It seems to be doing the same thing it was before the radiator change. I had a radiator out of a international truck, big and ugly. I hate to wrap the headers, But I think that's where the problem lies. I bought...

I tend to agree about the plate. It needs more holes I think. A friend made it, and I like the look, but if that's the problem...

    Still overheating

There is no spring in the bottom hose. I don't think 220 is overheating but it is hotter than I'd like it to be. I apoligize for my vagueness. I may have been under the influence when I started this thread.:tongue3:

Oh yeah, Shrourd is very cool. Two fans mounted with holes cut for the fans. They come on at 180. Seems to be after a 5 mi run.

All very good questions. New radiator cap, 50/50 mix. 190 thermostat. Seemsto run hot after hot rodding. If i drove it normally it wouldn't get hot. If I've missed anything,,,,

    Surging

Rebuilt carb, put filter on, new fuel pump, new fuel pressure guage. Turned out to be a plug wire. I love it! :burnout:

    Surging

This is the set up. 1971 440hp balanced, bluprinted, and gas ported. Elgin cam with hp specs. Torker II intake with a Mighty Demon 850. Mallory ignition, and a Unilight distributor. Notice no fuel filter. I'm ordering one today. I know, I'm a dumb@#$ for running without one. That may be the...

    Surging

The Duster started surging in the last couple of days. Thinking it is the carb. Just not running right. I hope you understand what I mean by surging. Don't think it is the fuel pump ( Holley blue). Could be bad gas. I'm thinking maybe the carb ( Mighty Demon 850). Trash in the carb? Where should...

    Mancini transmission

I just looked at the website. They are just listing TCI transmissions. I guess the quit rebuilding them. Ron Mancini did mine years ago.
