assembling my68 dart front end. center link leans down toward drivers side how far up sector shaft does pitman arm go with proper washer and nut there are no threads showing, it is flush. new pitman and box with assembly grease. how many threads of sector shaft should extend past nut

thanks everyone, did more research. have a stock 489 a body axle posi. backing plates are from a b body as are the drums. 2.5 inch shoes did not seem to fit the 10 inch a body backing plates, not enough anchor. will 28 inch replacement axles work this set up?all this to change from 4 to 4.5...

originally had 10 inch brakes on my 68 dart. decided to go disc in the front so i want to upgrade rear. found backing plates for 2.5 inch brake shoes. does anyone have any experience with yukon axles. 4.5 inch bolt pattern 28 inches and half the price of the others.? thank you so much, hate to...

i recently purchased kick panel insulation for a 68 dart. its the yellow insulation. anyone know which way it faces? one side is black cardboard like firewall insulation, the other side is a black fibrous material, thanx,rcdart.
