Thanks - that is what I was originally thinking as well. That I just would not use them. But interestingly enough the extra 3 wires match the color of the ones that were on the old harness. Don’t makes me wonder… looks like I will have to map it out. I realize wire colors on replacement parts...

Hi - any ideas hear? Is my issue that I installed the 11 pin switch and should have kept with the 8 pin?

I ordered a new turn signal switch for my 1973 Scamp. My original was 8 pin the new one has 8 pin and - separate connector with 3 wire. Can I use the one I received ? As my understanding the extra connectors are for lights that mine does not have? I also switched to all LEDs and now no flash…...

Thank! And yes a 1973 scamp. I did remove those small trim pieces when I did the body work. I ordered new clips from OER but they are bigger than my original- and this made me wonder if the trim was different. May have to jsu clean up and re- use the old ones.

Hi - getting to the place in my restoration and now putting in the new windshield and backglass. Car previously had a vinyl top and now I have removed it. Does this change the chrome trim or trim clips on the car? Or will my old trim work?

Cannot get new wiper bushings to install correctly. I have tried several options Classic Industries, E-bay (twice). The bushings install fine on the bar. But I cannot get them to push down and lock onto the actual wiper mount or the motor mount. I have used silicone grease and even drilled...

Hello, I ordered new trunk extensions for my 73 Scamp and they have these large holes in them. The original ones do not have these (unless totally trusted out)! Seems like it would be better for me to weld a patch and close the hole! Opinions? Facts?
