    Sheetmetal Dashes

I came across something very interesting this morning. A company called LRB Speed is making replacement dashes for a variety of vehicles, including Dodge. Sorry, not for the A-Body, yet, but maybe someday. Take a look though ,maybe you can use them for your project or get some ideas to fab your...

Oh, that's sexy, and a diesel to boot, love it. Nice wheels and fitment. Is that lowered a touch?

Sadly manual cars in general are becoming very scarce. Your correlation and speculation is interesting. The slant 6 was a great engine, albeit anemic. The BMW 6 has a hemi head, available in N/A, single turbo, and twin turbo. If Chrysler had kept the slant 6 it would 100% resemble the BMW...

    New Daily Driver

I usually drive Volvos, but my favorite cars to drive are BMW's. Nothing feels and drives like them. I just picked up a 2008 BMW 535xi (E60, N54), 2 owner car, twin turbo, all wheel drive with a 6 speed stick. These are the winter 17" wheels. I have the factory 18" wheels too. I have some...

Feel like my 440 should be faster

I run a 9.5 as well, from Coan. Dynamic is a great company. Never heard of Boss Hog.

Feel like my 440 should be faster

It isn't a mail order item. You need to call a reputable convertor company and give them ALL of the most HONEST answers to their questions. A dyno sheet on your engine is best, but they can get you close without it. For reference, I run a 4,500 on my mild 440 and it makes peak tq at 4,500. I...

These stand out to me 9.38.1 compression (calculated) A little low, but that 103lsa will help with this. 452 heads stock unported with Howard’s springs specs for the cam bone stock heads!!! Heads are where power is made. Quick Fuel Slayer 750cfm carb, vac secondaries, 1” spacer Smallish...

    Porting Edelbrock RPM air gap

At least in the case of big blocks, when it comes to induction, you truly can't compare GM to Mopar. GM likes restriction before the heads, Mopar does not. You'll also see that peak RPM in a BBC will be higher with any given cam grind vs. BB mopar. I'm not saying that based on reading anything...

Ah, imron, that brings back memories... PPG sadly has always been an inferior paint, and clear coat for that matter. If you ever want to see a demonstration, buy code99 black PPG and put it next to Dupont or Spies, it's brown, vs. blue. While I don't use their clear, house of color makes a very...

I'm unfamilier with TremClad, but I use Majik from TSC and they sell a hardner that works with it. I think someone earlier posted a hardner that will work with TremClad. Now if you want to get creative, we used to take single stage, spray 2-3 coats of it and then spray clear mixed with single...

    Weight difference

Yes, RMS did this to mine.

    Weight difference

I remember this now.. RMS had to use tapered ream on my spindles because they were the smaller balljoint, to work with the willwood kit he sold me back when I was using factory stuff with QA1 and Wilwood parts. I've since went to an AlterKtion.

Are they that weak? I can't say i've ever seen a spindle break. I ran them for years, on the street, on my big block car. He is using it in a race only application, which definitely changes things.

    Porting Edelbrock RPM air gap

Port match and blend it up from there. That is a pretty good intake, perhaps the best dual plane available. If you want something beyond a port match and blend, i'd be talking to an expert, like IQ52. He ported my intake. While he is retired, i'm sure he can answer your question.
