    Some Of Yall Construction Gurus......

LVL is a engineered product. Typically found at lumber yard (at least here on west coast). Good stuff but maybe overkill for your situation. Whichever way you go. Good luck.

Another vote for LVL very strong AND straight. Also $$ as mentioned.

    1973 Duster 340 Torsion Bars - recommendations

I complicated my world a bit with alot of new front end parts. I would think if you indexed the position of your current install, things should go smoothly for you. Good luck.

Yeah. Working thru this right now. (Hopefully done this morning) Nothing wrong with some trial and error...learn alot. But, an organized step by step would be cool.

That would be great. The step showing proper orientation of LCA seems to get skipped.

    Change rear end length ?

I have a bit of planning to do and then change that plan a few times, before I do any cutting. Also working out the engine build. And trying to convert a barn into some sort of a shop before winter... Thanks for the offer to help. I very well may take you up on that. Much appreciated.

Appreciate the feedback. I went with the 8 3/4. Now if I can just find my JB Weld. Thanks all.

    Change rear end length ?

Thanks for responses. I was just looking at some Dr Diff stuff. Seems more doable as I dig into it. What could go wrong?

    Change rear end length ?

Hello. I have a chance to get an 8 3/4 or 9 1/4 rear end for my 71 Scamp. Both are too long. Can I cut and re-weld housing and order new axles? Is there a better / cleaner approach to this? I have no experience with this type of modification. My welding skills would have to improve quite a bit...

Pit bull mixed got our Golden retriever today.

I've had many pits over the years. I put one down when she started getting aggressive. She nipped a local kid, nothing bad. But when pits get "weird" it's time to make tough decisions. It could very well happen again. Sorry.

    Hello All

New to the world of Mopar. Just started work on a 71 Scamp. Not sure of overall plan yet, but starting today on disc brake conversion, suspension, +. I've already gotten alot of great info from here, sure there will be more questions to come. Thank you.
