I run them with very mild port & chamber work & larger valves on my 318 w/ an XE268 which isnt that big, but you don't call out your cam specs. I'm very pleased with the combo.

Tony, are the rollers still intact? I was under the assumption that the '73 was a one off. The rollers on my '73 swinger are toast & I've been keeping an eye out for a passenger side.

I may be wrong but I believe the 340 is an internal balance.

Looks good. You would be surprised at how much of a difference in steering reducing the size of the steering wheel makes. Driving is significantly more fun for me now. Looks good. Post the finished product when you wrap it up.
