Basically I got rot behind the wheel and pitting/ pinholes around the wheel lip. Quarter to roof seems ok except for whatever filler was in there is falling out. Was a vinyl top. I took it off.
Has anyone used the AMD non-oe style quarter skins. They are in the discontinued sale pretty cheap. Left side only I think. What’s the difference between oe and non oe?
Well that was my original question. Is it up to the task? I have never ran one so I was asking. From what I hear I guess not. I’ll go with something else.
Has anyone used the “Ready to run” pro billet? Is it basically a jump over stock or a real performance piece? Build is a 528, tfs 270’s. 11:1. Solid roller. I can get one unused pretty cheap. Or better off with the “normal” msd and a separate box?
Posting more pics. It was only one chamber that looked like that and I do believe it was a bad head gasket. There is marking/discoloration at that chamber and that one only. I sprayed it with Kroil and hit it with a shop rag and it pretty much wiped right off. Did a before and after.
The seller assured me it was a running engine when he pulled it out for a customer for an Indy crate. Whether to believe that or not? I got a pretty good deal On the whole thing but that’s what I found after tearing it down. Two cylinders actually the same way.
I’m not really sure. When I picked it up it had been sitting under the guys shelf for years with the heads still bolted on the block. That cylinder had some rust it in it also. I thought maybe the head gasket wasn’t sealing and water or coolant leaked in over time. ?
Stage 6 heads complete. 1.5 Mopar rocker arms. Shafts. M1 Intake to fit RB.
Heads appear untouched. Came off 505 crate motor. I got them just like you see them. Don’t know much else. Also have purple shaft cam that was in the engine that appears pretty clean I will throw in. Believe it’s the...
I used to say my car had a "cam and intake" when I was a dumb kid. My shop teacher hated it!
It goes with other things too..."hot water heater". It's a water heater. Why do you need to heat hot water? "Duck tape" . (Yes there is a brand that calls itself that) . Air conditioning "duck"...
