    1966 plymouth belvedere II

Really cool ride and killer story. My dad was a body man for 47 years, he hated cars and didn't want to work on them after hours or on weekends. You are blessed to have a dad to share with you his passion.

    hard start when engine warm

Thanks guys, the carb spacer sounds good. I actually removed a steel separator plate sandwiched between two gaskets when I rebuilt the carb. As for timing, what is the proper setting. I set base timing at 10deg btdc when I installed the cam, and it didn't knock so I left it alone.

    8 3/4 swap maybe??

I have an 8 3/4 with 55" flange to flange. The spring pads have been rewelded at 42 1/2. I would like to put it under my 73 Duster 318/904 but don't know if it is the right way to go. BTW it is open diff. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
