    Is your 67-76 A-body windshield leaking ?

    We’re finally doing it!!

Do they make a set of wheels like that for us old guys? Following your build. You are on the ball! We did it 23 years ago. It was stressful, but totally rewarding. You probably know way more than me but, make sure you get what you want. We read a book back when, and the author mentioned...

Yes Virginia, they are still out there.

    I didn't see a price mentioned.

    198 slant 6 value?

10-15 years ago, when I yanked my car's 198 for it's current 360, I found that the 198 rods had value to someone who was building a long rod 225. It required using 2.2 pistons? (That fixed the compression height.) Anyway, I got $200 from someone on slantsix.org. I think, since then...

    Mopars in the WILD

Looks like the wing saved the roof! (If it didn’t already barrel roll)

    IHRA buys Maple Grove

I agree. Let's hope the racers that have been "married" to the NHRA for decades, while NHRA s**t on them, will support the IHRA. It's been a long time since a "Wally" appealed to me. Many, many years ago, it had some prestige. To some, it still does. I used to run Stock with a partner...

    pain and sleep fix

Most nights, when I wake up to go to the bathroom, I can't sleep after that. I do the nap thing, too. But if I nap too long, I don't sleep the next night. I have to balance it out.

    pain and sleep fix

Yes. We are always told that we should eat right, exercise and get enough sleep. I would bet that sleep is the one that people don’t adhere to. When I was working, it was sometimes hard to get enough sleep. Now that I’m retired, I’m making up for it!

    Budget Build 5.9 for a 71 Scamp

I’m following your build. I like how you’re doing it. Get engine cleaning brushes, and clean every single oil passage until it’s clean, then do it some more!

RANT-It never fails/par for the course

I had a friend who collected magazines starting in the 50s. He passed away a couple years ago and his widow is overwhelmed with magazines and everything else he collected.

    Paint and bodywork

I don’t know much about the business, but I do know bodywork and paint work is usually a completely different skill set. In the 80s, a body guy helped me get my 72 demon ready for paint. To his credit, he knew he wasn’t good enough to paint it. We got another guy for that. But, his body skills...

    Paint and bodywork

I painted a couple 40 plus years ago. Results were what you would’ve expected having no experience. And yes, I would’ve gotten better if I continued. You need someone to teach you, plus, you need experience. But you know this. Why do you say that? EDIT: Sarcasm, I guess?

Can a fiberglass bumper be wrapped?

Wipe off and smudge? I'm surprised it sells. If chrome wrap wrinkles around the sharp corners, I'm good with that. I don't care for the painted bumper look.
